  • Abdominal pain can be relieved by applying mild local heat.
  • Avoid the use of laxatives.
  • Avoid, where possible, situations that cause stress or nervousness.

It is a chronic disease. Some patients usually have exacerbations due to the presence of triggers, which can last a few days or weeks and then improve.
