How to Prevent Gastritis by Naturopathic Way?
April 6, 2021 by Admin
The gastritis is inflammation of the lining of the stomach and may be acute, when presented for a short period of time, or chronic, if prolonged for months or years. This inflammation of the stomach causes, in people who suffer from it, pain in the upper part of the belly or stomach, nausea and, sometimes, vomiting. All of this translates into a lack of appetite and desire to eat because at each meal we ask ourselves how I am going to feel later. To help you improve this situation, nature cure centre in Mumbai wants to give you some guidelines that will make you feel better.
WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF GASTRITIS
One of the most common causes of gastritis is infection with a bacterium called Helicobacter pylori that is transmitted from person to person. In developed countries, this bacterium could be infecting 50% of the population, although only 15% of them develop the disease, which shows that it is highly influenced by genetic or environmental factors (food, smoking, etc.). Anyway, this is not the only cause of gastritis but there are others such as:
- Continuously taking certain medications such as anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin.
- Consuming too much alcohol
- Autoimmune disorders such as pernicious anaemia.
- High stress or anxiety, as it increases gastric acids and causes what is called nervous gastritis.
- The abuse of copious, very heavy or spicy foods.
- Food infections.
- Tobacco
- Other viral infections
NATUROPATHIC WAY TO PREVENT GASTRITIS
If you are one of the people who suffer from gastritis, you should know certain guidelines to follow in your daily life and certain dietary recommendations aimed at facilitating digestion and avoiding irritating or exciting foods that will lead to poor digestion and discomfort.
HEALTHY EATING HABITS
Try to eat fractionally 4-5 times a day. Do not eat large meals as this will make you have slow and heavy digestions making your stomach have to work more. Avoid foods rich in salt or sugar, highly seasoned or spicy foods, and pickled foods. Do not eat foods at extreme temperatures, very cold or very hot, as this will increase the irritation. Do not forget to include in your diet the consumption of fruits and vegetables that will provide you with antioxidants, B vitamins and fibre.
AVOID DRINKING AND SMOKING
Avoid drinks that stimulate gastric secretion or that worsen digestion such as coffee, tea, alcohol, cola drinks or carbonated drinks. If you smoke, stop. If you do not see yourself capable, seek advice from naturopathy centre in Mumbai, your situation will improve considerably.
EXERCISE
It is very beneficial and indeed necessary physical activity to maintain good physical and health condition. You can get relief from gastritis or any abdominal problem if you do regular exercise.
WELLNESS THERAPIES
If you are a nervous person or suffer from stress, encourage relaxing attitudes and wellness therapies in Mumbai.
